ADHD, Autism (ASD) therapy

Living with ADHD or Autism can bring both unique strengths and real challenges. Whether you’ve recently been diagnosed, are self-identified, or have known for years, therapy can offer a supportive space to better understand yourself and find ways to thrive.

I'm Katy, a BACP Accredited therapist offering ADHD therapy and Autism therapy in Farnham and online. I work in a person-centred way, which means I tailor therapy to your individual experience - there’s no “one-size-fits-all” here. You are the expert in your life, and I’m here to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and care.

A neurodivergent-affirming approach

If you’re neurodivergent, you’ve probably had experiences of feeling misunderstood, overlooked, or pressured to “fit in.” My approach to therapy is affirming and inclusive - I won’t try to change who you are or “fix” the way your brain works. Instead, we’ll explore how your brain and body experience the world, what support you need, and what it looks like to live more fully as yourself.

Whether you’re navigating sensory overwhelm, emotional burnout, executive functioning challenges, social fatigue, or just trying to make sense of how you relate to others and the world, therapy can be a space to unpack, reflect, and build strategies that actually work for you.

ADHD therapy

If you’re living with ADHD (diagnosed or not), you might be dealing with:

  • Difficulty with focus, memory, or attention
  • Overwhelm or procrastination with tasks and routines
  • Emotional intensity or quick changes in mood
  • Struggles with organisation or time management
  • Rejection sensitivity or low self-esteem
  • Feeling constantly “on the go” or burned out

In ADHD therapy, we explore these challenges in a way that’s kind, non-judgemental, and realistic. You don’t need to justify your struggles or “try harder” - you’re already doing your best. Therapy offers a space to look at your patterns, build self-understanding, and create supportive systems on your terms.

Autism therapy (ASD)

If you're Autistic (diagnosed or self-identified), therapy can help with:

  • Masking and the exhaustion that comes with it
  • Sensory sensitivities and regulation
  • Social burnout or difficulty navigating relationships
  • Anxiety or shutdowns/meltdowns
  • Navigating work, identity, or major life transitions
  • Feeling misunderstood or alienated

In Autism therapy, we focus on helping you connect more deeply with yourself. This might mean unlearning harmful expectations, building sensory or emotional awareness, or simply having a space where you don’t need to explain every part of your experience.

Who I work with

I work with neurodivergent adults and older teens, whether you're officially diagnosed, exploring a possible diagnosis, or just beginning to notice that traditional ways of thinking or functioning don’t quite fit you.

I also welcome clients with co-occurring conditions like anxiety, depression, or low self-worth, which often show up alongside ADHD or Autism.

Sessions are:

  • 50 minutes long
  • Held in person in Farnham or online via secure video call
  • Available as ongoing work or short-term support, depending on what you need
  • Preceded by a free 15-minute intro call to see if we’re a good fit

Why neurodivergent clients come to therapy

Many of my clients seek ADHD or Autism therapy because they’ve spent years feeling like they’re “too much” or “not enough.” They’re tired of masking, burning out, or feeling out of step with the world.

Therapy offers something different. A space where you’re accepted exactly as you are - and where we can explore what it means to live, work, connect, and care for yourself in ways that honour your neurodivergent needs.

Whether you want to process past experiences, learn new coping strategies, or simply have a space to be without judgement, you’re welcome here.
